2024/11/28 Ανθοφορία στις στάχτες / flowering on the ashes

Στην περιοχή Καλό Αμπέλι στα νοτιοανατολικά του νησιού, η φωτιά της 29ης Ιουνίου έκανε στάχτη όλη τη βλάστηση. Οι πρώτες φθινοπωρινές βροχές επέτρεψαν την άφθονη ανθοφορία των βολβών που επωφελούνται από την ποτάσα της στάχτης.

In the Kalo Ambeli area in the southeast of the island, the fire of June 29^th had reduced all the vegetation to ashes. The first autumn rains allowed an abundant flowering of bulb plants that benefit from the potash in the ashes.
