2024/03/02: Ο Μάρτιος επέστρεψε, το ίδιο και τα φριτιλάρια και οι όφρυς! Πιο πολυάριθμες από ό,τι τα προηγούμενα χρόνια! / March is back, and so are the fritillaries and ophrys! More numerous than in previous years!

Οι πρώτες fritillaria tuntasia (γνωστές εδώ ως “καλόγριες”) ανθίζουν, προαναγγέλλοντας μια πλούσια περίοδο ανθοφορίας. Οι ορχιδέες ophrys είναι ιδιαίτερα όμορφες και πολυάριθμες, απαιτώντας μεγάλη προσοχή για να μην τις πάτησουμε, ειδικά τις χαμηλότερες bombyliflora. Και όλα στο ίδιο χωράφι με τα πολλά iris tuberosa.

The first fritillaria tuntasia (known here as “nuns”) are flowering, heralding a rich blooming season. The ophrys orchids are particularly beautiful and numerous, requiring great care not to crush them, especially the lower bombyliflora. And all in the same place as the iris tuberosa
