2023/03/03: Οι πρώτες ανθοφορίες της ενδημικής fritillaria tuntasia ανάμεσα στις ορχιδέες ophrys – The first blooms of the endemic fritillaria tuntasia among the ophrys orchids

Τα Fritillaria tuntasia τα βρίσκουμε μόνο στη Σέριφο και στην Κύθνο, πουθενά αλλού! Μοιάζουν με fritillaria obliqua από την Αττική. Το τοπικό όνομα είναι “καλόγριες“.

Φτύονται στα ίδια εδάφη με τα ophrys, σε πλήρη άνθηση τώρα: O. fusca (bilunata punctata), O. lutea (phryganeae), O. bombyliflora, O. tenthredinifera και προφανώς ένα υβρίδιο O. bombyliflora x tenthredinifera

Fritillaria tuntasia are only found in Serifos and Kythnos, nowhere else! They resemble fritillaria obliqua from Attica. The local name is “καλόγριες » (nuns).

They grow on the same soils as the ophrys, in full bloom now: O. fusca (bilunata punctata), O. lutea (phryganeae), O. bombyliflora, O. tenthredinifera and apparently a hybrid O. bombyliflora x tenthredinifera
